Our History: We are Karachi Cricket Club
Being an incredibly popular game in Europe and Asia for decades, the game of Cricket is fetching a great
deal of attention in North America. Moderate to hot climate of Houston provides
for almost all-year long cricket season. That's the reason there are several
hard-ball leagues being organized and participated by most advanced Cricket
players while on the other hand parking lot taped-ball cricket is becoming
increasingly popular among the youth of Houston.
Karachi Cricket Club started as a bunch of players, mostly from Pakistan,
gathered on Friday nights in selective lighted parking lots and enjoyed taped
ball cricket, though poorly-organized. It was this miniature cricket that laid
the foundation of relatively well-organized cricket club called Karachi
Cricket Club.
Today there are about 15 members in the club and KCC is one of the top
cricket team in Houston. Each and every person in KCC is a professional in his
field like, Computers, Electronics etc. and is passionate about cricket.
